Project Details
The proposed mosque will be approximately 1,000 square meters built on 8,000 square meters land, and will have men’s and women’s prayer halls, kitchen, and classes for kids, teens and adults.
The mosque will be conveniently located near downtown of Phoenix, Phoenix International Airport and near three major freeways (I-10, 202 & 51). It will be visible from the freeway 202. The Design Phase is complete with the completion of architectural design and acquisition of extra land for the parking lot. The Construction Phase is underway, pending financial support from the Muslim community.
Ibn Maajah (738) narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.
